During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in Sweden exhibited varied trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Ryanair saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.9K in late September and ending the year with approximately 1.2K downloads in the last week of December. The weekly active users for the app similarly showed a declining pattern, beginning at 8.6K and closing the quarter at roughly 7.8K.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines experienced a gradual decrease in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads started at about 1.3K in September and dropped to around 913 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 2.9K to approximately 2.4K over the same period.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker demonstrated an interesting pattern in weekly revenue and active users. Revenue peaked at $1.6K at the beginning of the quarter but dipped to $850 by the end of December. Downloads also saw an increase towards the end of the year, rising from 1.1K in late September to about 1K in the last week of December. The app's active users showed a notable peak in mid-December, reaching around 12K before settling at approximately 10.6K by the end of the quarter.

The Norwegian Travel Assistant app had a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in late September and dropping to about 799 by the year's end. Active users followed this downward trend, beginning at 2.7K and ending the quarter at around 2K.

Finally, Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, growing from 579 in late September to approximately 738 by the end of December. Active users also saw an upward trend, rising from 3.1K to about 3.4K over the same period.
